Google Shopping ads that turn clicks into orders
Search for a product and Google shows a row of photos with prices first. We fix your product feed, build the campaigns and count every sale, so your products earn a place in that row.
The products are right, but Google hardly shows them
- Merchant Center flags a third of your products as disapproved and nobody knows why.
- Product titles are stock codes like “BRW-WLT-02” that nobody searches for.
- One campaign covers the whole catalogue, so the budget drifts to products with no margin.
- Nobody can say which products the ads sell and which just eat budget.
What changes once the feed and the campaigns are in order
How we get there
Shopping runs on your product data: titles, descriptions, categories and images decide which searches your products appear for. So we start with the feed, written the way people search, in the right categories and with nothing disapproved.
Then we split campaigns by what matters to you (margin, best sellers, season), so the budget goes to products that pay their way, with sales and revenue counted by product in your account.
Every product approved and findable
Titles, categories, images and identifiers fixed so your products are approved and show up for the right searches.
Merchant Center diagnostics and feed optimisation
Budget where the margin is
Campaigns grouped by profit, so best sellers get the spend and low-margin items don't eat it.
Sales counted by product
You see which products bring orders and revenue, and which only cost money.

How the management fee worksQuestions about Google Shopping ads in the UK
What does a Google Shopping agency do?
It looks after the two halves of Shopping ads: the product feed in Merchant Center (titles, categories, images, prices, delivery) and the campaigns in Google Ads (grouped by margin, best sellers or season). Then it tracks sales by product and moves the budget to what sells.
Why does Merchant Center keep disapproving my products?
Usually prices that don't match the page or exclude VAT, missing identifiers like GTINs, images with text or watermarks, or a missing returns policy. The diagnostics tab says which; we fix the feed so the reasons don't come back.
Is Performance Max better than a Shopping campaign?
It depends on your tracking and your catalogue. Performance Max can work well with clean data and enough sales, but it decides a lot on its own. Standard Shopping gives more control when the budget is small. We choose per shop, and explain why in the plan.
What does Google Shopping management cost?
UK agencies charge £500-£1,500/month to manage a small Google Ads budget, according to Whito's 2026 UK PPC study. Our management price goes in your proposal, set by the size of your catalogue and the number of campaigns. There's no set-up fee and no minimum term, and the first invoice comes once your catalogue is approved and you've approved the campaigns. Ad spend goes to Google from your account.
What return on ad spend should I expect from Shopping?
There's no honest general figure: it depends on your margins, prices, delivery and competitors. What we do is track revenue by product, so you can see your real return and decide which products are worth advertising.
Google Shopping ads show your products with a photo, price and shop name when someone searches for something you sell. They run on a product feed in Google Merchant Center and campaigns in Google Ads. We fix the feed, group the campaigns by margin and count sales by product.
More detail: Google Shopping ads
The same feed decides what Google shows you for free
The Merchant Center feed that runs your ads also lets your products appear at no cost in Google's Shopping tab, Images and Search (Google on free listings). A broken feed costs you the paid places and the free ones.
Fixing a feed is concrete work with a clear end. The free audit shows how your products and your competitors' appear today.
Google Shopping in the UK: VAT-inclusive prices and delivery
In the UK, Google asks for product prices that include VAT, matching what the shopper sees on your product page (Merchant Center price rules). A price without VAT in the feed is one of the most common reasons for disapproved products in UK shops.
Delivery cost and time count as much as price for UK shoppers, and Merchant Center can show both in the ad. We set your delivery rules (free over a threshold, next day, click and collect if you offer it) and your returns policy, so the ad answers the questions before the click.
How Google Shopping ads work, from feed to sale
Your shop sends Google a product feed through Merchant Center: name, price, image, availability and other details for each product. Google uses that data to decide when to show each product, and you pay when someone clicks. You don't pick keywords; your product data does that job, which is why a clean feed matters so much.
If the shop itself needs work first, see ecommerce website design. If you want orders that don't cost a click, that's ecommerce SEO.
Standard Shopping or Performance Max for a small shop
Standard Shopping shows your products in Shopping placements and lets you decide, product group by product group, where the money goes. Performance Max uses the same feed across YouTube, Display, Search, Discover, Gmail and Maps, and Google's automation decides where each pound goes (Google's description).
For a small catalogue with clear best sellers, Standard Shopping usually gives more control and cleaner numbers to start. Performance Max can reach more people once there's enough sales data to guide it. We tell you which one fits your shop in the audit, and why.

When Shopping ads pay off, and when they don't
Worth it if
- You run an online shop with products people search for by name or type.
- Your shop is on Shopify, WooCommerce or another platform that can send a feed.
- You know your margins, so the budget can go where it pays off.
Not a fit if
- You sell services, not products: search ads fit better.
- Your products can't be advertised on Google under its policies.
- You want the accounts in our name. They're always in yours.
