How to rank higher on Google Maps in the UK
Claim and verify your Google Business Profile, choose the right category, earn reviews and line up your details on UK directories: what gets you on the map and up it.
Google Ads for local firms and small shops across the UK. We choose the searches worth paying for, write the ads, build the page they land on and count every call and enquiry. Each month: searches that bring nothing cut, budget moved to what brings enquiries and a summary of calls and forms.
Your products with photo and price in Google's Shopping results, with a clean product feed and every sale counted by product.
Your business promoted at the top of the map for people searching nearby, while your listing earns its place for free.
We start with the searches that mean someone wants to book now, like “emergency plumber Nottingham” or “dentist open Saturday”, and leave out the ones that only burn money. Each group of searches gets its own ad and lands on a page that answers exactly that.
Then we track what matters: calls from the ad and the website, forms and WhatsApp messages. Every month we know which searches bring customers and move the budget there, in your own account, with full access.
Search terms reviewed regularly and the ones that bring nothing excluded, so the budget goes where customers are.
keyword strategy and negative keywords
Each campaign lands on a page that matches what the person searched, with the call button in plain sight.
dedicated landing pages
Calls, forms and messages counted in the account, so decisions are based on customers instead of clicks.
conversion tracking with Google tag
Which searches in your area mean someone wants to hire, how many there are and how your competitors advertise.
We create or clean up the account in your name and set up tracking for calls, forms and messages before spending anything.
Ads written for each group of searches, landing on pages built for them, with the daily budget you set. Nothing runs until you approve it.
The management fee starts once the campaigns run. Every month we cut what doesn't bring enquiries, move budget to what does and explain it to you.
With your industry's benchmark and your own figures: enquiries, customers, cost per customer and the highest CPC that still pays.

1 · What we found
Last month a third of your spend went on searches like “plumbing apprenticeship” and “boiler manual pdf”; every ad lands on your home page.
2 · The campaigns we'd run
3 · Fixed quote
We build the campaigns, the page they land on and the call and form tracking. You approve the lot before a penny goes on clicks, and from then on it's the monthly management fee in your quote.
We don't promise a number of calls or sales; that depends on your offer, your prices and your competitors. We promise the work, and you can see where every pound of spend goes.
How the management fee worksOurs is a monthly fee fixed in your quote, with no set-up fee and no minimum term. What you spend on clicks is separate and goes straight to Google from your own account, with the daily cap you choose. The first management invoice comes once you've approved the campaigns and they're live.
You can run it yourself, and Google makes switching on easy. The difference is in the ongoing work: reviewing search terms, cutting waste, testing ads, building landing pages and tracking calls properly. That's what management pays for, and it's where most self-run accounts leak money.
Yes, always. The account is in your name, you're the admin and your card pays Google. We work with access you grant, and if you stop working with us, you remove it and keep everything: campaigns, history and data.
Enough to buy a meaningful number of clicks in your area each month, which depends on what a click costs in your trade. Our Google Ads calculator gives you a first figure, and in the audit we check it against real searches near you.
Yes, as long as you can get admin access or the account is in your name. If the old agency owns it, we help you ask for a transfer; if they won't, we start a new account in your name and rebuild what was worth keeping.
No. Results depend on your offer, prices, area and competitors, and anyone promising a number is guessing. We guarantee the work in your plan and show you, in your own account, what each pound brings in.
PPC (pay per click) on Google means your ad appears when someone searches for what you sell, and you pay only for clicks, up to a daily limit you set. As your Google Ads agency we pick the searches, write the ads, prepare the landing page and count every enquiry.
SEO takes time. Ads can put you at the top of Google as soon as they're approved, which makes them the bridge while your website earns its own place. The catch is that they only work while you pay, so the spend has to be tracked right down to the enquiry.
Already running ads? Then the question is whether they pay their way. In the free audit we look at how your competitors advertise and, with read access, at what your account is doing today.
UK ads answer to the CAP Code, which the Advertising Standards Authority enforces: claims like “cheapest in Leeds” or “5-star service” need evidence you can show (the CAP Code). We write ads around what you can back up (same-day call-outs, fixed prices, years on the Gas Safe register if you give us the number), which also tends to get more clicks than a vague superlative.
Google invoices your ad spend directly to the card on your account, and whether VAT is added depends on how your business is registered, so the figure to compare is on Google's own invoice. Our management fee is invoiced separately, in pounds, with VAT added.
For most small businesses, search campaigns are where the money is: someone types what they need and your ad answers. Performance Max can help shops and some service businesses, but it needs good tracking and a clear brief, or it spends on placements that don't sell. Remarketing shows your ads again to people who visited your site and left, which is useful when the decision takes days.
Display, YouTube and Demand Gen campaigns build awareness; for a local business they're rarely where the first money should go, and we'll tell you if that changes. Local Services Ads, the ones with the “Google Screened” badge, are charged per enquiry instead of per click and only exist for some trades; whether yours qualifies comes up in the audit. If your customers search on the map, Google Maps ads are worth a look; if you sell products, Google Shopping ads.
If you already advertise, we start by looking at your account: which searches you're paying for, how much goes to terms that never bring enquiries, whether tracking counts real calls and forms and whether ads land on the right pages. You get what we found, with what we'd change first.
A common problem in small accounts is a good part of the budget going to searches unrelated to the business, or page visits counted as conversions. Google's Quality Score helps spot weak ads and pages: it rates expected clicks, ad relevance and landing page experience. It isn't part of the auction, but a low score points at what to fix. Fixing that usually comes before spending more.
Ads are immediate and stop when you stop paying; SEO takes longer and keeps working without paying per click. If you need calls now, ads come first, ideally while your SEO builds. If your margin can't sustain paying for every click, SEO deserves more weight. To run the numbers before you spend, try the Google Ads calculator.
Management is a monthly fee quoted for your business after the free audit, set by how many campaigns and areas there are. It covers building the campaigns, the pages they land on, the tracking and each month's review. No set-up fee and no minimum term; 30 days' notice to stop. The first invoice comes once you've approved the campaigns and they're running.
Your click spend goes from your card to Google, in your account, with the daily cap you choose. Some PPC agencies charge a percentage of spend; ours is a flat fee, so we've no reason to push your budget up. Every price is on our pricing page.
