An SEO audit that shows what's costing you customers

Pages Google can't find, the same service at three addresses, a site that crawls along on a country signal. We find the problems, rank them by cost and fix them.

A dental group's page indexing report: the reasons Google wasn't indexing pages (404 errors, redirects, duplicates and “noindex” tags) turn to “Passed” one by one and indexed pages go from 58 to 178. Practice and figures are examples.

Your site looks grand, but Google sees a different site

Most of what holds a website back isn't visible from the home page.
  • Search Console keeps sending warnings in a language nobody in the business speaks.
  • Pages that brought in enquiries two years ago have slid down without anyone noticing.
  • The site was rebuilt last year and the visits never came back.
  • Your last SEO report ran to 50 pages and nobody knew what to do first.

What you get when the audit finishes with the fixes done

How we get there

We go through your site as Google does: which pages it reaches, which it keeps, which it ignores and why. Then we set that against what your customers search for, to find the pages that are missing and the ones competing with each other.

You get the few problems that matter, in order of what they cost you, with a date for each fix. The fixes in your plan are carried out and each one is ticked off on your tracking page.

  • A short list, in priority order

What's costing you visits today goes first. Tool warnings that don't affect your rankings go to the bottom, or out.

    impact first, not tool score

  • Broken things fixed, with proof

Redirects, duplicates, broken pages, titles and speed: what's in your proposal gets fixed, with a before and after for each.

  • Your own data, in your name

Search Console and analytics set up correctly and in your name, so you can check the progress yourself.

    Search Console verified and monitored

How the SEO audit works

Four stages, measured against your own Search Console data.
  1. Access and data

You give us read access to Search Console and analytics, or we set them up in your name if they don't exist.

  2. Full review

We crawl your site the way Google does and check indexing, speed, structure, content and links against what your customers search for.

  3. The plan, ranked

What we found, in plain English and ranked by impact, with what we'd fix, in what order and by when.

  4. Fixes and a second check

We fix what's in your proposal and ask Google to recheck the affected pages, so you can watch the errors clear in Search Console.

What the SEO audit looks at

Each finding comes with what it's costing you and how we'd fix it.
  • Every page Google should keep, kept
  • One page for each search
  • Fast on a phone
  • A page for each thing you sell
  • Pages Google understands at a glance
  • Links and mentions
  • How AI answers describe you

We tell you if a full audit would be worth your money

In the free audit we look at your site in Search Console and on a phone and send you the three things costing you most. If a full audit would pay off, we say so, with a fixed price; if not, we say that too.

Questions about the SEO audit

What owners ask before an audit. Yours can go in the form.

What's checked in an SEO audit?

How Google reads your site (pages it can reach, duplicates, redirects, speed on a phone), how well each page answers a search, who links to you and how AI answers describe you. Ours finishes with the problems ranked by cost and the fixes in your plan done.

What does an SEO audit cost?

It depends on the size of the site: a twelve-page site for a practice isn't a shop with thousands of products. You get a fixed price in your proposal and you pay once the fixes in it are live and you've checked them.

Can I get the report only and fix things myself?

Yes. The report is written so you or your web developer can work through it. We'd rather do the fixes, since that's where the gain is, but the report is yours to use either way.

Is an SEO audit worth it before building a new website?

Usually, yes. It tells you which pages bring visits today so the new site keeps them, and which old addresses must point to new ones. Skipping it is the most common reason a new website loses visits.

Do you need access to my website for the audit?

For the review, read access to Search Console and analytics is enough, and we can set them up in your name if you don't have them. Access to the website itself is only needed later, for the fixes in your plan.

An SEO audit is a full review of your website from Google's side: whether it can read every page, whether each page answers a clear search, how quickly it loads and who links to it. Ours ends in fixes: problems ranked by what they cost you, and the ones in your plan solved.

More detail: SEO audit

A technical problem left alone stays a problem

A page Google can't read won't start ranking by itself, and duplicate pages go on splitting what Google thinks of you. Each month they stay, the pages that depend on them stay down.

Planning a new website? Then audit first: it tells you what has to be kept before anything goes. Start with the free website audit and we'll tell you whether a full audit is worth it.

What we check on an Irish site that audit tools miss

Tools check any website in any country the same way. On Irish sites we also look at the cookie banner (the DPC expects consent before analytics or advertising cookies, and a banner that loads everything first is both a compliance problem and a slow page), whether your Eircode and contact details match your Google profile, and whether a .com site tells Google it's meant for Ireland.

If you sell online to consumers, we check the basics the European Accessibility Act now asks of ecommerce, in force since June 2025 (European Commission): contrast, labels and keyboard use. The same fixes help Google read the page.

Technical SEO audit: what we look at behind the scenes

Technical SEO is everything that lets Google reach, read and keep your pages: how the server responds, how pages link to each other, what each address returns and how fast it all loads. Google's own SEO Starter Guide puts it near the top (helping Google find your content), because the best copy doesn't rank if Google can't read it.

The same check now covers AI answers: Google says a page has to be indexed and eligible for a snippet to appear in AI Overviews, with no special file or markup required (AI features and your website). If speed turns out to be the main problem, website speed optimisation covers it in depth. If the site needs rebuilding, we plan a website redesign that keeps your rankings.

A free SEO check or a full audit: the difference

The free SEO audit looks at your business from the outside: how people search for you, what they see, your listing and your site on a phone. It's enough to decide what to do first. A full SEO audit goes inside, with your Search Console data and a complete crawl, and ends in fixes. Most small businesses start with the free one, and we tell them straight whether the full one is worth paying for.

What our SEO audit costs

The price is fixed and goes in your proposal, set by the size of your site: a ten-page site for a dental practice isn't the same job as a shop with two thousand products. It includes the report, the fixes listed in the proposal and the second check. You pay once the fixes are live and you've seen them. If what your site needs is ongoing work, our SEO services include the audit as part of the setup.

What's included, point by point

  • Every page Google should keep, kept

Which pages Google stores and which it ignores, and why: blocks, errors, redirects that lead nowhere.

indexing in Search Console, robots.txt, sitemap

  • One page for each search

Pages competing for the same search, the call on which one stays and what happens to the rest.

keyword cannibalisation, canonicals and 301 redirects

  • Fast on a phone

How long your important pages take on a normal mobile signal, and what slows them down.

Core Web Vitals: LCP, INP and CLS

  • A page for each thing you sell

Whether each service has a page that answers its search, and which pages are missing or too thin.

    content and keyword gap

  • Pages Google understands at a glance

What Google reads to understand each page, and how your pages point to each other.

title tags, headings and internal links

  • Links and mentions

Which sites link to you, whether any of those links could hurt, and which local sites should mention you and don't.

    backlink and off-page audit

  • How AI answers describe you

What ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews find when they look for your business, and whether your pages can be cited.

    AI visibility check

When a full SEO audit pays off, and when it doesn't

Pays off if

  • Your site used to bring visits and has been losing them.
  • You're about to redesign and want to know what to keep.
  • You get Search Console warnings nobody has looked at.

Not a fit if

  • You just want a tool score to show someone. We fix what costs you customers.
  • Your site has three pages and no traffic yet: you need pages before an audit.
  • You want the report only, for someone else to fix. We can, but the value is in fixing what we find.
