How much does a website cost in Ireland?
What Irish small businesses pay for a website in 2026, from a basic brochure site to an online shop, with the source; running costs, VAT, grants and how to compare quotes.
Your site is tired, but it still brings in some work, and you're afraid a new one will lose it. We rebuild it without throwing away what Google already knows about you.

Before designing anything, we list the pages that bring visits and enquiries now and the searches they appear for. Those are protected: improved, not deleted, and every old address points to its new page.
Then the rest is rebuilt: faster on a phone, a page per service, clear ways to get in touch. Same domain, better site, and Search Console watched after launch.
Page by page, so visitors and Google land on the right new page instead of an error.
301 redirect map
We keep your domain and what already works, and rebuild the rest.
Errors and visits checked in Search Console in the weeks after the new site goes live.
post-migration monitoring
Every page, its visits and its links, from your Search Console and a full crawl.
The new pages and where each old address will point, written into your plan.
The new site built and approved page by page on a private address, while the old one keeps working.
Redirects live, sitemap submitted and errors watched in the weeks after launch.

1 · What we found
Your “pet vaccinations” and “dog dental” pages bring most visits; the redesign you were quoted would delete both.
2 · The plan, page by page
3 · Fixed quote
It depends on how much there is to move across (hundreds of pages, a shop, two languages). The audit gives you a fixed price before we start, and you pay it in one go once the new site is live.
Not if the migration is done right: same domain, every old address redirected to its new page and Search Console checked after launch. We can't promise rankings, but we avoid what usually causes the drops.
Ask them by email to transfer the domain and hosting to you; most will. If they don't, the registrar has a process for the registered holder. We help with both before the redesign starts.
Yes, whatever still works stays, improved where it needs it. Pages that bring visits keep their content and address, or point to a better page. Out-of-date pages are rewritten or removed with a redirect.
If the site has pages that rank and a domain with history, redesign and keep them. If it has neither, the work is much the same as a new site. The audit tells you which you have.
A website redesign rebuilds an existing site (design, text, structure and technical side) while keeping what works: your domain and the pages Google already shows. With us it's one fixed price, paid in one go once the new site is live.
People size up a business by its website in seconds. A site that looks abandoned or crawls on a phone makes them try the next one, even when your work is better.
The longer it stays, the more you depend on what it still brings in. The free audit shows which pages must be kept and what a redesign would gain.
The domain is usually the most valuable part of an old site. A .ie domain is registered through a registrar to a named holder (.ie registry), and that should be you or your business; if the old developer registered it in their own name, we help you have it transferred first.
We also bring the site up to date with what Irish visitors and rules expect: an Eircode on the contact page, a cookie banner that waits for consent as the DPC expects, a privacy notice for the forms and, if you sell online, the accessibility basics of the European Accessibility Act.
Not every old site needs rebuilding. These are the signs that a redesign will pay off, rather than a few fixes.
Text you have to zoom into, buttons too close together, a menu that doesn't open. Most of your visitors are on a phone.
Every edit needs someone who's hard to reach, or the platform no longer gets updates.
Your services are buried in one page, so Google has nothing specific to show for each search.
Visitors arrive, but the phone, the text button or the form are hard to find.
Most traffic drops after a redesign have the same causes: old addresses that return errors, content that disappeared, pages blocked from Google by mistake or a domain change with no plan. Google's own guide to moving a site with URL changes comes down to the same steps we follow: map old to new, redirect each address and watch Search Console (site moves with URL changes).
If the problem is only speed or a few technical errors, you may not need a redesign at all: see website speed optimisation or an SEO audit.
It depends mostly on the size of your current site: how many pages there are to keep, merge or create. A redesign is a new custom WordPress website, so we size it with the inventory from the free audit and give you a fixed price that doesn't change mid-project. You pay it in one payment once the new site is live and you've checked it. What other providers charge, with sources, is in how much a website costs.
What exists today, what brings visits and what other sites link to.
