How much does a website cost for a small business?
What US small businesses pay for a website in 2026, by who builds it, with sources; the monthly and yearly costs after launch, and how to compare quotes.
Most visitors arrive on a phone, often on a weak signal. If your site takes seconds to show anything, they go back to Google. We make it fast without rebuilding everything.
We measure your important pages on a phone, find what slows them down and fix it in order of impact: images, scripts, fonts, caching, hosting and how the page is built. Most of the time it doesn't take a new website.
Faster pages keep more visitors and give Google one less reason to prefer a competitor. You get the before and after for every page we work on.
Your important pages show their main content quickly, even on a weak signal.
LCP under 2.5 s as the target

PageSpeed Insights
Your important pages tested on a phone, with lab tests and real visitor data where Google has it.
What holds back each page, ranked by how much it costs you.
Images, scripts, fonts, caching and hosting fixed as set in your proposal, tested before anything goes live.

Yes, as part of page experience, which Google's ranking systems take into account, and because faster pages keep more visitors. Speed alone won't make a page rank, but a slow page starts behind.
Usually, yes. Most problems are images, plugins and caching, which can be fixed on the current site. If the platform itself is the problem, we tell you before you pay for anything.
Speed work is billed by the hour across the industry: for WordPress, Wix or Shopify sites, US agencies mostly charge $25-$49/hour, according to Clutch. Ours is a fixed price in your proposal, set by how many pages need work and what's slowing them down. You pay once the changes are live and you've seen the before and after.
Google's targets are a common reference: the main content should appear within 2.5 seconds, the page should respond to a tap within 200 milliseconds and the layout shouldn't jump while loading.

Website speed optimization makes your pages load fast on a phone: lighter images, less code, better caching and hosting, and fixes to whatever blocks the page from showing. Google measures this with Core Web Vitals. We fix what's in your proposal and show you the before and after.
Google's own guidance treats page experience, including how fast a page loads and responds, as part of what its ranking systems reward (page experience on Google Search). And a visitor who leaves before your page shows up never gets to the call button.

Many small business sites run on WordPress, and their slowness usually has the same three causes. Each one has a fix that doesn't require a new site.
A slider, a form builder or a chat widget can load its code on every page, even where it isn't used. We remove what you don't need and limit the rest to the pages that use it.
Cheap shared hosting can take a long time just to start sending the page. Caching helps; sometimes a better plan is the real fix, and we say so.
server response time
Photos several megabytes each, shown at a fraction of their size. Resizing and modern formats make them a fraction of the weight.
Core Web Vitals are three measurements Google uses to judge page experience: how long the main content takes to appear (LCP), how quickly the page responds when you tap something (INP) and how much the layout jumps while loading (CLS). Google's targets are 2.5 seconds or less for LCP, 200 milliseconds or less for INP and 0.1 or less for CLS (web.dev).
We aim for those targets on your important pages, which matter more than a perfect score on every tool. If speed is only one of several problems, an SEO audit or a website redesign may be the better place to start.
Modern formats, the right size for each screen and images below the fold loaded only when needed.
AVIF and WebP, lazy loading
Unused plugins and scripts removed, and the rest loaded when it's needed.
script cleanup and deferral
Caching set up and, if needed, a hosting recommendation in your name.
CDN and server response time
Content that shifts while loading and buttons that respond late, fixed.
CLS and INP
Measurements for each page, in plain English.
