How much does a website cost in Canada?
What Canadian small businesses pay for a website in 2026, from a DIY builder to a custom agency build, with sources; yearly costs, GST/HST, French pages and how to compare quotes.
If your Google or Facebook ads send people to your home page, you pay for clicks that wander off. We build a page for each campaign, with one offer and one way to reach you.
The page picks up exactly where the ad left off: same offer, same words, the answer in the first screen. Then the reasons to trust you, the usual doubts answered, and one button repeated where the thumb is.
Every call and form is tracked back to its campaign, so we know which ad and which page bring customers, and change the rest.
The page repeats what the person searched or clicked on, so they know they're in the right place.

No menu or distractions: call, text or a short form, always in view.
Every call and form linked to the ad that brought it.

What the ad promises, who clicks and what stops them from contacting you.
We write the page around the offer and the objections, and you approve it before we design anything.
Built for phones, with the action always in view, on your own domain.
Calls and forms tracked by campaign, checked with a test lead before the page goes live.

1 · What we found
Your “free roof inspection” ads open the home page; the form has nine fields and the phone number is in the footer.

3 · Fixed quote
A regular page serves everyone who arrives; a landing page serves one campaign, with one offer and one action. It usually has no menu, so the visitor's only choices are to get in touch or leave.
Web design agencies on Clutch mostly charge US$25-US$49/hour for WordPress, Wix or Shopify work, and a landing page is one of the shortest jobs. Ours depends on how many pages and campaigns, and whether we write the copy. You get a fixed price in your proposal, and you pay once the pages are live and you've reviewed them, with tracking working.
Yes. A visitor from social media usually knows less about you than one from Google, so the page explains more before asking. We build them for Google Ads, Meta ads or both.
Only for what goes beyond answering the request. Replying to someone who asked for a quote is fine; adding them to a newsletter or sending promotions later needs their consent. We put a separate, unticked box on the form for that.
No. Campaign pages are usually kept out of Google's index so they don't compete with your service pages. Your regular pages keep doing the SEO work.
A landing page is a page built for one campaign: it repeats the promise of the ad, answers the questions that hold people back and has a single action, such as calling or sending a short form. We design, write and build them, and track every call and form they bring.
When more of the visitors you've paid for get in touch, each inquiry costs less with the same ad budget. The page is often the cheapest place to improve a campaign.
In the free audit we look at where your ads send people today and what a page made for them would change.
A landing page that collects emails for follow-up messages has to ask for consent the way CASL requires (getting consent to send email): a clear, unticked box and who's asking. Answering the inquiry itself doesn't need it, so we keep the two apart and the form short.
Claims on the page (“lowest price”, “24/7”) should be true and supported under the Competition Act and the advertising code (Ad Standards). And a campaign aimed at Quebec gets its own French page, so the ad and the page speak the same language.
On Google, people arrive with a search in mind, so the page answers that search in the headline and asks for the call fast. On Facebook or Instagram, people weren't searching, so the page explains more before it asks for anything. One page rarely does both jobs well.
Once the page is live and getting traffic, we test one thing at a time: the headline, the offer, the form length or the photo. Half the visitors see each version, and we keep the one that brings more leads, judged on enough visits to mean something rather than on the first few days.
Small budgets don't always bring enough traffic for a fair test, and we'll tell you so. In that case we change the page based on what the leads say and on where people stop scrolling.
Headline, benefits, objections answered and one clear call to action.
